Love that Dorset Timber Mart is around the corner from our new house on Paint Lake. This location is quite convenient, but even more notable is when you walk into the store the staff calls you by your first name and when you go into the yard the guys also call you by your first name. Most important though, the lumber is top quality – stored outside, under cover and easily accessible. Prices are also very competitive and in many cases, surprisingly, less than charged by the big box stores – I know because I have done comparisons. I have been purchasing building supplies from Chantal at Dorset Timber Mart since 2003. Both Chantal and her staff are second to none, always willing to go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Delivery is always prompt and with pleasant conversation by the drivers. As accidents do happen, any damaged product has been replaced without discussion.
Working out of a modest well stocked show room with limited display space ,if you don’t see it , ask, from plumbing needs to specialty lumber products as they most certainly will be able to obtain whatever you require for a better price.
